Details about the church
Our history
Evangelical Church - Skopje began as a home community in the period between 1987 and 1988. At that time, the group was registered as a religious community within the Pentecostal Church of Christ in Yugoslavia. The current space was purchased in the period between 1989–1990 and after its adaptation, regular church activities began to be held. Soon, the Pentecostal Church of Christ changed its name to the Evangelical Church in the Republic of Macedonia (locally as the Evangelical Church - Skopje). EC - Skopje is a church with a missionary character aimed at encouraging believers to live and practice their faith in Jesus Christ in their living environment. The believers of the Evangelical Church - Skopje base their affiliation with the church on their own decision to follow the Lord Jesus Christ and on their personal experience of faith in God. They want to practically confirm their faith with their lives and show an example of Christian life with which they will be a blessing and benefit to the environment in which they work and live. The goal of such a lifestyle is to encourage others to live a daily, meaningful life dedicated to God. The services of EC - Skopje are dynamic in nature and are designed for all ages: Bible lessons for children and youth, small groups for Bible study and discussion, and weekly services.
