E.C. Saraj
The pastor of the church in Saraj is Sokrat Apostolovski. In 1984, he married Lena. After believing in the Lord Jesus, they began to actively serve in the church and have been involved in its activities since 1966. In 1999, together with other brothers, he became one of the founders of the Christian organization "Royal Scouts" and in the first four years of its establishment, he served as the national commander of the organization.
One of the goals of their missionary work is to create a context where Roma people can gather, be encouraged, and build themselves up for the work of the gospel. That is why in 2009 they started the Roma Leadership Conference in cooperation with brothers and sisters from Bulgaria and Serbia. Together they created a movement that is by Roma and for Roma people. Many of the participants are now actively serving as pastors, worship leaders, involved in children’s ministry, and more.

Our history
In 2003 we founded a church among the Roma in Saraj. Since 2008 this community has become a full member of the Evangelical Church in Macedonia. Our target groups include marginalized residents from a Muslim background who have never had contact with the gospel before. EC – Saraj uses very imaginative and pioneering methods of the whole gospel to transform their lives physically, mentally, spiritually and socially.
