Details about the church
Our history
Evangelical Church – Prilep works mainly among the Roma population in Prilep and the beginnings of this church date back to 1996, when it first started with a home community with about thirty young people. At the very beginning, the church was taken care of by the married couple Budimir and Asteria, who were already working as missionaries in Shtip. Later, with the help of the Galilee Foundation from Geneva, the church building was purchased and the church joined the churches within the Evangelical Church in Macedonia. During that period, the church worked under the supervision of the president of the EC in Macedonia, Mircho Andreev, who regularly visited the church. This church began activities in Bitola, such as distributing Christian literature, humanitarian work, showing the film JESUS, and the like, and the person responsible for these activities was Tefik Musoski. Over time, the Evangelical Church of Prilep sent people to several cities in Macedonia to assist in the work of existing churches, and later, through the relocation of some of the members to Austria and Germany, church communities were started in those countries as well.
